So Beautiful Is The Earth

I was reading up blogs written by farmers and farming families around the world. Then I came across this very beautiful video on Life in the Prairie State.

Attributed to Thomas Moore and sung by Cathie Ryan, this song is entitled “Pretty Maid Milking Her Cow”

Nobody Ever Found Me

“I played hide and seek, and…”

In all the years that I have surfed the Net, Susannah holds the distinction of writing the most memorable self-descrption ever. Roam this creative, sensitive astrologer’s blogs from this point.

Looking Through A Child’s Eyes

Here’s a very interesting project that I would like to emulate someday. Thanks and congrats to Kira Cares and Kristi who passionately blogs about it .

Happiness is …

A butterfly on my dress

Is what I like best

And to go out on a Sunday

For lunch at The Subway

From food to fashion a mess

Fate

“Every path we choose, every road we travel, will eventually lead us to the place we are supposed to be.”

This is For Reading When One Has The Time

The Mysticism of Sound - The Sufi Message of Hazrat Inayat Khan

We found a bat What appears frivolous and speculative at a glance, reveals a deep and unified message when savored slowly, one small chunk at a time. Swirl it your mouth, let its odors rise to your mind.

Central Asia Website

I remember watching a BBC TV Series and being enthralled by the hidden beauty of Central Asia and their people who live with a free spirit under the open skies and in the open fields. Today I came upon this website that I would like to share. A bit of news and politics but the occasional photographs are worth the visit.

What Would You Do If Your Mum Fails To Come Home?

Aiman and Yoda I enjoy reading and participating on Yahoo! Answers because there are always some interesting questions and answers being posted. Many of these interesting questions/ answers demonstrate how differently we perceive the world that we live in, or how different are our own individual worlds although we live in the same one.

Here's the most interesting question I've read this year. A fifteen year old girl and her brother are waiting at home for their mother. She had been gone for too long, which is unlike her, and she had not called home. The girl is anxious and does not know what to do. She turns to the Internet and Yahoo! Answers for help. Read her question.

Walking In The Small Moments

At 3:30 in the morning, there was only the Rain and the Goddess. I listened to both, one falling in torrents in the absolute silence and darkness, one speaking into my ear... from a poetic diary, WindWalking, which I found while searching for Goddess of Silence

Where All failed, My Twin Anthony Succeeded

I can't remember the last time I read a story that touched me profoundly. I've seen touching movies, listened to touching songs, seen a few touching photographs lately (I was keen in photo-journalism as a student) and I've met people whose life stories are profoundly touching, but I can't remember the last time I read anything really touching. Not even a poem or a haiku.

Today, I read this story on WeBook.com. I don't know whether it is a true story or not. It is so touching that I can only hope it is not true. The shock and the hope that comes with it reverberates and lingers on like the chimes of a big bell long after I've read the story. I hope it's not true.

In Search of The Wildflower

Some of photos here are so ethereal (like the one below) that one is reminded that despite the mundane life we lead, the existence of this universe is still a magical phenomena

Written in poetic prose and filled with an innocent spirit of awe and adventure, In Search of The Wildflower is an inspiring and refreshing blog to read. I would like to share it's goodness with you.
